How this mentorship works

This isn't traditional therapy, and it isn't coaching. It sits in the space between where the body is the guide and the nervous system is the place we begin.

Sessions are grounded, gentle, and paced by you. Between sessions, you're supported - not left to figure it out alone until next week.

01 — Weekly 1:1 sessions

Each session meets you where you are. We might move through breath, somatic inquiry, nervous system practices, or simply be with what's arising. There's no agenda beyond what your body needs.

02 — Daily voice note support

Seven days a week, between sessions, you have access to Lauren via voice note. Because patterns don't wait for Monday. When something arises in real life, you're not navigating it alone.

03 — Guided somatic meditations

A library of body-based practices to use between sessions; supporting your nervous system to begin regulating on its own terms, in your own time.

04 — Breathwork & nature-based practices

The same intelligence that moves the seasons lives in your body. We work with that — not against it. Practices draw on breath, movement, and the natural world as tools for regulation.

05 — Whole-person support

Experience mental, emotional, physical, and nervous system wellbeing held together. Nothing siloed. You are not a set of symptoms; you're a whole person, and this mentorship treats you as one.

About Lauren

I was where you are

I spent most of my life in my head. Shaped by conditioning, external expectations, and a nervous system that was working overtime to keep me safe (showing up as overthinking, people-pleasing, and a deep disconnection from my own body).

Eight years ago, something shifted. Through therapy, somatic work, breathwork, and a slow return to the natural world, I found a different way to live. Not a better version of managing; an actual return to myself.

I share this not because it's part of a script, but because this work is the thing I wish I'd found sooner. And I don't want you to wait as long as I did.

Questions

  • This mentorship is not clinical therapy or psychology. It's somatic-informed mentorship. That means body-led, nervous system focused, and designed to work alongside or after other supports. If you're currently seeing a psychologist, this can complement that work beautifully.

  • Sessions can be held in person, at home, in nature or online via video. We might begin with breath, body awareness, or simply checking in with what's present. There's no protocol to follow: each session is responsive to where you are. Some feel quietly profound. Some are more conversational. All of them are led by you.

  • Between your weekly sessions, you can send Lauren voice notes seven days a week. If something arises ( e.g. a difficult moment, a pattern you notice) you're not waiting until next week. Lauren responds with grounded guidance to help you move through it in real time.

  • A psychologist works from a clinical, talk-based framework. This work meets the body first. Rather than analysing patterns from the outside in, we work with the felt experience of them (where they live in the body) so that change becomes something experienced, not just understood.

  • Completely. Many clients come with no background in somatic therapy or breathwork. The only requirement is a willingness to slow down and turn inward. Lauren will guide you every step of the way, at your pace.

  • Yes. This mentorship is designed to complement other support; including psychology, counselling, or coaching. If you'd like to discuss your specific situation before committing, that's exactly what the discovery call is for.
